These cards were created using a free varsity letter font and the SCAL program to pull apart the layers of the letters.  The grad cap and rhinestones are a great way to embellish the cards.

My sister-in-law's dad died last week and this is the sympathy card I made to send to her. I don't remember what color inks I used because I had these all stamped out quite awhile ago for another project that I ended up not needing them for. The inks are all CTMH. There is glitter on the flower and leaves but it doesn't really show up in the picture.

Christmas Cards

These are the cards I made for the 2014 Christmas Card Round Robin at The Embellished Scrapbook Boutique.  For those who aren't familiar with how a round robin works, we make up card kits and set up stations around the classroom.  Customers come in and go from station to station making as many cards of each kit as they would like.  They supply their own adhesive, glue pen, pop dots and scissors; we supply everything else needed to complete the cards.  This is a great way for customers to learn new techniques and use products they have never tried before.  It's also a great way for the to make a variety of cards.  Earlier in the year we hold an All Occasion Card Round Robin.

Taylored Expressions Up, Up & Away

I just purchased the new Taylored Expressions Up, Up & Away plate and made these samples to leave at my friend's store, The Embellished Scrapbook Boutique.

I also did another sample with the Up, Up & Away cutting plate to show that the balloons can be used by themselves to create a totally different look. I thought the monkey from Kaisercraft's Hello Sunshine paper pad was perfect for this card. He looks like he is floating away with the balloons.

Christmas Cards

These are a few Christmas cards I did for The Embellished Scrapbook Boutique's Christmas Card Round Robin this past weekend.  They set up card kits and customers go around to each card and make as many as they want for $1.50 per card.  You can see the cards HERE.  We make up about 20 kits of each card and sometimes have to make more kits before the weekend is over.  I had to cut more for each of these cards.  The Joy card was the most popular.

 

This card used the O Little Town of Bethlehem stamp from Our Daily Bread Designs stamped in colbalt ink.  The poinsettia is the Layered Poinsettia die from Spellbinders and the greenery is the Martha Stewart medium pine branch punch.  The pearls were colored with a copic marker.

As I said this was the most popular card.  I started with 20 kits and had to cut an additional 35 kits.  The joy and snowflake are cut from WPlus9 Seasonal Sentiments dies and the snowflake border is Memory Box Frostyville.  

For this card, I got the idea HERE using the Taylored Expressions O Christmas Tree die. I just changed the color and left off the bow.
